Academics are important when choosing a college, but the way members of the opposite sex stack up is a close second. Based on stats from CollegeProwler.com, here are the schools with the highest-ranked guy-girl ratios on campus.

Clemson University
The odds of snagging a southern gent are slightly in favor of the southern belles at this South Carolina school, with 46 percent female and 54 percent male undergraduates.
Oral Roberts University
This Christian school has 57 percent females and 43 percent males, but student reviewers on CollegeProwler.com say many of the women are just looking to get a “ring by spring” with their MRS degree.
University of Alabama
’Bama guys and girls are said to be as steamy as the southern weather, and with 52 percent female undergraduates and 48 percent male undergraduates, both sexes seem to have their pick.
The University of Tampa
This Florida school has a variety of different people with one thing in common: They’re all in great physical shape because they’re always outside enjoying the weather. Lucky for the guys, they have an advantage over the ladies, with 59 percent female undergrads and 41 percent male.
West Virginia University
CollegeProwler gave an A+ to the 45 percent females and 55 percent males on this campus. Unfortunately for them, WVU has strict rules: Students can’t have members of the opposite sex stay overnight.
Liberty University
The numbers are almost even at this Virginia college, with 52 percent female undergraduates and 48 percent male undergrads. Students may have a hard time embracing the great ratio, however, because Liberty -- ironically -- enforces a midnight curfew.
Pepperdine University
California dreamin’. ... The 46 percent of male students on this Malibu campus dress to the nines, and some female CollegeProwler reviewers complain that with all the designer bags, it’s hard to tell which guys are actually interested in the 54 percent of females.
Stanford University
The male-female ratio at the prestigious university fares well for the 49 percent of females and 51 percent of males. But with all the time spent at the library and studying, many students don’t have time for dating.
University of California, Santa Barbara
Lucky for the 54 percent of females and 46 percent of males, toned and tanned bodies are the norm with all the surfing and beach volleyball at this university.
University of Kansas
With over 30,000 students at this Midwestern school, the even 50/50 guy-girl ratio leaves plenty of dating options for both sexes.
